HACKENSACK, N.J., March 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — MAX Surgical Specialty Management (MAX), a surgeon-led support platform for oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) practices, has appointed Dr. Margo J. Freedberg as Medical Director and Dr. Sung Hee Cho as Chief Medical Officer.
In response to MAX’s expansion across the Northeast, it has enhanced its Clinical Advisory Board to better serve its growing surgeon network, which increased by nearly 40% in 2024.
Dr. Freedberg, serving as Medical Director, will develop and oversee MAX’s clinical strategic goals, services and surgical programs. Dr. Cho, who previously served as MAX’s Medical Director and is a co-founding partner of MAX, will lead and mentor new associates and support the academic and industry communities as Chief Medical Officer.
“We started MAX to create opportunities for leading oral surgeons dedicated to their specialties and committed to contributing to the advancement of OMS,” said Dr. Jason M. Auerbach, Founder and Co-CEO of MAX. “Dr. Freedberg and Dr. Cho will continue to create a space where surgeons prioritize patient outcomes and thrive.”
MAX’s Clinical Advisory Board is a group of nationally renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeons who collaborate with their peers and play a pivotal role in shaping MAX’s commitment to clinical excellence, innovation and patient-centered care. Members and MAX leadership work together to develop best practices and provide strategic insights to ensure alignment with the industry’s evolving landscape.
“Our network of top-tier surgeons is one of MAX’s most sought-after resources for our new partners and residents considering MAX,” said Dr. Freedberg. “I look forward to elevating our standards through collaboration and shared ideas, providing meaningful value to our surgeon partners.”
