In his opening speech, Dr. Peter Zhou, Vice President of Huawei and President of Data Storage Products, highlighted Huawei’s innovative products such as the multimodal converged data lake and DCS AI, which elevate the capabilities of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
Wind Li, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of Global Public Sector BU, emphasized Huawei’s support for over 5,600 healthcare facilities in more than 110 countries. The company aims to accelerate digital transformation, innovate scenarios, and converge artificial intelligence to support global healthcare.
Huawei’s Chief Scientist of Global Public Sector BU, Hong-Eng Koh, discussed the vast potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare, emphasizing its ability to enhance diagnosis accuracy, reduce doctors’ workload, and provide personalized treatment options for patients.
Collaborating with Huawei, Luis Santiago Sánchez Fernández, CTO of Andalusian Health Service (SAS), presented the centralized HIS/EMR system Diraya, ensuring equitable healthcare access to approximately 9 million residents. SAS aims to provide intelligent, humanized, efficient, and secure healthcare services in collaboration with Huawei.
Tsvetomir Nikolov, IT Director of Acibadem City Hospital in Bulgaria, shared their digital transformation practices, highlighting the importance of technology in providing comprehensive patient services. Acibadem is working with Huawei to establish a smart hospital campus and active-active data center, improving data access performance for HIS/PACS/EMR services.
Feng Feng, Sales and Business Development Manager at KFBIO Europe, discussed the use of deep learning algorithms in assisting doctors with disease diagnosis. Huawei and KFBIO jointly developed an AI-based digital pathology solution to enhance diagnosis accuracy and efficiency.
