In April 2021, the Georgia Climate Project hosted a webinar titled “What Does a Changing Climate Mean for Georgia’s Weather?” The session explored the impact of climate change on Georgia’s agriculture, highlighting potential challenges such as increased heat stress, longer growing seasons, and changes in rainfall patterns that could result in more severe droughts and floods.
For those who missed the live webinar but are interested in learning about how climate change affects agriculture in Georgia and how farmers can adapt, the recording is now available on the Georgia Climate Project’s YouTube Channel.
