Hop Over to Bunnies in the Bottoms April 4-6 for Vintage, Antiques, and More
KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The Historic West Bottoms District in Kansas City is excited to announce the return of its beloved event, Bunnies in the Bottoms, taking place during First Friday Weekend from April 4-6, 2025. This leads up to Easter features costumed bunnies hopping through the district, plus pet bunnies to hold to bring smiles and cheer as shoppers explore the unique offerings of the area.
Located just west of downtown Kansas City off the historic 12th Street Bridge, the West Bottoms is known for its vintage and antique shops, furniture, clothing, home décor, and collectibles. Visitors can enjoy hunting for one-of-a-kind treasures and Easter-themed items while soaking in the district’s historic charm.
Beyond shopping, Bunnies in the Bottoms will feature an array of family-friendly activities and entertainment, including photo opportunities with the bunnies, festive photo booths, themed décor, and an enticing selection of treats from food trucks, cafés, and coffee shops.

The free outdoor events, which enhance the West Bottoms’ First Friday Weekend shopping experience, are part of the Festivals of the Full Moon, a monthly themed celebration paying homage to the district’s creator, Full Moon Productions. Upcoming themes for 2025 include:

- West Bottoms Shopping – First Friday Weekend’s Festival of the Full Moon theme is Bunnies in the Bottoms, running April 4-6.
