Huawei Unveils Digital Training 2.0 Solution at MWC 2025
BARCELONA, Spain, March 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Huawei introduced its Digital Training 2.0 solution at this year’s MWC forum on "Nurturing ICT Talents to Enhance Intelligence in Education." The aim of the solution is to assist universities in cultivating better ICT talents and meeting talent requirements globally.

Ramon Iriarte, UNESCO’s Chief Specialist for Education, and Soledad Patiño, Coordinator of UNESCO’s Global Skills Academy, highlighted that the ICT Academy, in collaboration with Huawei, provides high-quality professional training for 300,000 students annually.
Frank Huang, Technical Director for Education in Huawei’s Global Public Sector Division, introduced the Digital Training 2.0 solution. It offers courses in 22 technical fields and project management worldwide, including overseas training labs in 11 technical disciplines such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and big data.

Professor Justin Mendes from the Shenjiang Institute of Technology discussed the progressive approach to talent cultivation in partnership with Huawei, enabling students to secure high-quality employment.
Daniele Cesarini, Project Manager at CINECA and a High-Performance Computing (HPC) specialist, shared Italy’s experiences in building supercomputing research infrastructure.
Flora Ng, Director of IT and Libraries at the University of Hong Kong, mentioned that Huawei’s intelligent campus solution utilizes Wi-Fi 7 technologies to optimize wireless networks, applications, and operational experiences, creating a more efficient and personalized environment for students and teachers.
Tea Wang, Director of International Affairs at the Chongqing University of Technology, introduced a joint high school for the innovative industry and training center created in collaboration with Huawei. In 2024, 790 students obtained Huawei certifications in various ICT disciplines.
