Huawei Launches Digital Training 2.0 Solution at MWC Forum
Huawei recently unveiled its Digital Training 2.0 Solution during the Cultivating ICT Talent to Amplify Digital Education forum at MWC in Barcelona, Spain. This innovative solution is designed to assist universities in nurturing top-notch ICT talent to meet global workforce demands.
Li Junfeng, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of the Global Public Sector BU, emphasized the role of intelligent technologies in driving digital productivity. Professor Justin Mendes from Shenyang Institute of Technology discussed the collaborative efforts between the school and Huawei to create a progressive talent development pathway, enabling students to secure high-quality employment opportunities.
Daniele Cesarini, CINECA Project Manager & HPC Technology Specialist, shared insights from Italy’s experience in establishing infrastructure for supercomputing research.
Flora Ng, Chief Information Officer and Librarian of the University of Hong Kong, highlighted Huawei’s smart campus solution, leveraging Wi-Fi 7 technologies to enhance wireless network optimization and create a more personalized learning environment for students and educators.
Tea Wang, Director of the International Affairs Office at Quanzhou Vocational and Technical University, detailed the successful partnership with Huawei in establishing a joint innovation industry college and training center, leading to 790 students obtaining Huawei certifications in various ICT disciplines in 2024.
Huawei’s “1+3” scenario-based solutions, including Digital Training, Smart Classroom, Scientific Research Computing, and Smart Campus, have been deployed in over 120 countries and regions, benefiting more than 7800 customers in the education sector. The company aims to strengthen collaborations with global stakeholders to accelerate technology integration in education, empowering individuals through intelligent education for sustainable progress.
