John Musker, the renowned director of popular films like “Moana,” “Hercules,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess and the Frog,” and “The Little Mermaid,” will be participating in this year’s Frames + Games Festival at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in Lakewood, Colorado on April 24 and April 25, 2025. The festival showcases and honors the work of RMCAD’s animation and game art students.

During the festival, John Musker will deliver a keynote speech and signing event on April 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. MT. He will share his experiences from over 40 years in the animation industry, both in person at RMCAD’s Mary Harris Auditorium and online. The following day, on April 25, the festival will feature food, drinks, game demos, and a screening and award show from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. MT. Student submissions in various categories will be judged, and John Musker will be present at the event.

The festival is free and open to the public, and attendees can reserve their seats on the RMCAD website or watch the live stream online.
