MLA College Appoints Professor Mohammad Dastbaz as New Director General and Principal

Professor Dastbaz brings with him a wealth of experience in higher education leadership, having previously served as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Suffolk. With a focus on computer science, Professor Dastbaz holds a PhD in the design, evolution, and evaluation of multimedia systems. As a member of the Chartered Institute for IT (The British Computer Society), he has consistently shown a passion for integrating technology, sustainability, and education throughout his career. Prior to his role at the University of Suffolk, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Engineering at the University of East London, and later as Dean and Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Beckett University.
